iCrossing to Drive a Search Informed Digital Campaign for Toyota (GB)

22/10/08

London– 22 October 2008 - iCrossing, a global digital marketing company, has been commissioned to deliver a search informed digital marketing campaign for Toyota (GB).

iCrossing will combine its experience in the automotive sector with its natural search, social media and measuring engagement services to create a campaign that will help Toyota (GB) better engage with its online customers and boost its search engine visibility.

Analysis drawn from iCrossing’s linguistic profiling will inform the campaign strategy and provide Toyota (GB) with detailed insights into the search intentions and language its customers use when it comes to researching and buying a car. iCrossing will also use its proprietary social media mapping and monitoring technology, NetworkSense, to gain insight into where and how Toyota (GB) customers interact online, identify relevant user conversations around the Toyota brand, and to measure levels of customer engagement.

This intelligence on customers’ purchase behavior both onsite and across social networks, will enable Toyota (GB) to engage with early adopter consumers as part of pre-launch marketing efforts for new models, such as Toyota IQ, which is due to go into production later this year.

Simon Rutherford, Head of Digital, Toyota (GB), comments: “Our customer base carries out much of its decision-making research online. It’s crucial that our digital strategy helps create meaningful connections with relevant online networks. With iCrossing, we will increase our online visibility in a way that engages users and provides them with the relevant information they seek.”

Mel Alcock, CCO, iCrossing UK comments: “Automotive is a core sector for iCrossing and one in which we have unrivalled experience. We will draw upon that global experience and our unique application of social media technology to strengthen Toyota (GB)’s position as a connected useful and trusted brand among online users.”

iCrossing has a rich global history in the automotive sector, with clients such as Porsche, Mazda, and Kia.
