Spannerworks maps the web for brands

Search-based digital marketing agency Spannerworks, an iCrossing company, today announces the launch of Network Sense, a ground-breaking web-mapping platform that gives FTSE 100 companies critical insights into the relationship between their brand and social media networks, such as blogs and wikis, and online communities such as MySpace and Bebo.
Despite the surge in interest in social media, and potential impact to connect brands with their customers, it remains one of the least understood areas of digital marketing. Network Sense provides unrivalled insight into social media networks for marketers by mining and mapping social network links to illustrate a brand's total online reach as well as benchmark its level of presence against competitors.

Network Sense will be made available to Spannerworks' FTSE 100 client base, as well as the client base of iCrossing, Spannerworks' parent company, as part of an integrated digital marketing offering.
Spannerworks will also use Network Sense to further develop its social media audit services, and to add deeper insight into how websites develop natural link communities thereby improving their visibility in search engines including Google, Yahoo! And Windows Live.
