Genericide!

Some say Google is right to object to becoming a verb…The Press Gazette blog and Out-law.com have some different points of view on the Google-as-a-verb issue we posted about a couple of days ago.

Apparently there’s more to this story than meets the eye - not least that it has done the rounds before in 2003.

Out-law gives a pretty thorough run-down on the dangers of becoming a generic brand too.

Nice problem to have though, and I stand by my support for anyone who wishes to turn Spannerworks into a (positive) verb…
