Yahoo! details software updates
9 October 2007
Yahoo! has revealed some of the improvements made to its advertising management software.
Marketing manager Michael Mattis explains the changes in a Yahoo! Search Marketing blog post.
They include a direct link to view performance figures for the present day, as well as to set a custom date range as the default for subsequent logins.
Direct navigation has been further improved by the addition of links to the previous and next report pages.
This eliminates the need to return to the report index each time a new page is desired, Mr Mattis asserts.
He observes: "You'll be able to customise your reports based on date range, filter criteria and data columns.
"You can also choose to have your reports emailed to you at intervals that you specify."
This is in addition to the previously announced feature which emails a user every 30 days if a user's sponsored search account is below a given "quality index temperature".
