Senior Natural Search Analyst

iCrossing requires a Senior Natural Search Analyst, to support the Natural Search Manager in delivering excellent results for our natural search clients. You will undertake all technical aspects of a search engine marketing campaign to maximise search engine visibility for a wide portfolio of blue-chip clients. While this is primarily a technical role requiring a high level of technical ability, you will be an integral part in effectively and professionally communicating bespoke Natural Search Optimisation (NSO) solutions.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

•  Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability in face to face meetings, in writing, and by phone
•  Excellent technical skills
•  Takes an analytical approach to problem solving, using all available data sources (Website Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Log Files etc...) to diagnose faults with websites
•  Proactively researches and produces case studies of new search technologies
•  An ability to manage own workflow effectively
•  Understanding of Website Build – HTML, PHP, ASP, JavaScript
•  Web Administration- server maintenance, knowledge of analytics packages and internet protocols
•  In-depth knowledge of natural search algorithms
•  In-depth knowledge of NSO methodology, including link community development, content and website accessibility
•  Appreciation of Content management Systems (CMS) and dynamic URLs
•  Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks
•  A positive attitude to dealing with people
•  Capable of working independently and as part of the project team
•  Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED

•   Knowledge of search engine marketing technique
•   Degree level qualification but suitable experience will be considered
•   Demonstrable experience of working within a web development environment
