Senior Customer Insight Analyst

iCrossing seek an enthusiastic, confident and experienced qualitative customer insight analyst to work independently, and as part of a bigger team, within a culture that embraces and supports creative approaches to research
as part of the Strategy and Planning team. This is a great opportunity for the right person to play an integral role in growing this role into a managerial position and developing a team.

Main Duties:

  • You will utilise qualitative research to educate our clients about their customers attitudes, needs, wants and behaviours
  • Perform additional analysis using data from quantitative research
  • Utilise a variety of research techniques including segmentation, persona analysis, questionnaire design; needs analysis, attitudes and usage analysis, conjoint/discrete choice analysis, needs/gaps analysis, package design studies, ethnology etc. Interpret quantitative and qualitative data and translate into actionable and  strategic recommendations that drive business and revenue growth
  • Identifying opportunities for qualitative research across other areas of the business
  • Make research recommendations that help deliver against our clients’ business objectives
  • Utilise your skills as a knowledge specialist to create work that raises the profile of iCrossing and drives our research strategy
  • Keep up to date with research techniques and new online methodologies and utilise these in your research for our clients’
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define and prioritise UX research questions
  • Effective communicator of research findings and creative thinker
  • Expand our offering by defining new services  or improvements based on new client requirements
  • Be the research lead on the project from design through to fieldwork and reporting

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required

  • Bachelors or above in Market Research, Stats Analysis, Economics, Psychology or similar
  • Knowledge of web technology and standards; mobile devices, accessibility and international and localisation
  • Experience with both Primary and Secondary Research (Nielsen, 
    IRI, NPD),
  • UX experience desirable
  • Be the research lead on the project - undertaking fieldwork with the assistance of other members of the research and insight team
  • Solid qualitative research experience working in a research or brand agency as a qualitative researcher or user experience analyst
  • Highly skilled in a range of qualitative research methods. Familiar with Primary and Secondary search (Nielsen, Forrester, IRI, etc) including design of qualitative research studies conducted by phone, the Internet, focus groups or one-on-one sessions)
  • Experienced in conducting research to understand users’ needs and behaviours
  • Excel with presentations and be able to communicate your findings in a clear and impactful nature
  • Be able to work in a cross-functional and international team
  • Excellent analytical ability especially with regards to user behaviour
