A fantastic opportunity to join a friendly web editorial production department in the Brighton or London office of a leading global marketing agency.

DESCRIPTION

As Finance Editor you will be working within our growing editorial and content production team, helping to produce written content for some of the biggest financial brands on the high street. This is a hands-on role where you will be working on a diverse range of content-based, integrated digital marketing projects, in particular acting as lead editor for two well-known high street personal finance brands and taking on the challenge to build our content offering for this sector in 2011.

  • Take on editorial and production responsibility for content across all of iCrossing's finance clients' content projects
  • Build relationships with our finance clients to develop innovative and profitable programmes of content activity that help them to talk to their customers in new and interesting ways
  • Commission, brief, edit and occasionally write editorial and promotional content to the highest standards, across multiple styles
  • Manage freelance writers as necessary to ensure delivery of content for finance clients to a high standard and to deadline
  • Work with senior journalists, copywriters and clients to implement guidelines for editorial style and tone of content
  • Interpret analysts' research, and liaise with clients and account managers to prepare editorial briefs
  • Regularly review output for each client against editorial brief
  • Review published output to ensure correct uploading of content
  • Moderate and engage with user feedback on news feeds where appropriate
  • Liaise with copywriters to co-ordinate content delivery across editorial and copywriting outputs
