As Head of Media at iCrossing Tom’s motivation comes from developing world-class paid search and display campaigns that not only deliver results but that create sustainable competitive advantage and points of differentiation for his clients.  Tom and his team of search experts offer consultancy and deliver accountable media campaigns across myriad sectors including retail, travel, finance and B2B.

Tom understands the need for robust reporting and processes in a discipline which involves literally billions of annual searches and tens of millions pounds worth of clients’ marketing budgets.  One of Tom’s personal highlights while at iCrossing has been in getting clients to share his enthusiasm for reporting and the benefits of gaining insight through data by migrating clients onto iCrossing’s bespoke campaign management and reporting platform, Merchantize. 

Before joining iCrossing in October 2007, Tom worked as a Search Manager at Latitude where he set up the search team at their London office.  He also won the Netimperative award for Best Search Campaign in 2007 for work with Totaljobs.

Reflecting on his career to date, the best move Tom ever made was removing himself from his first role within the banking sector to join the fast paced, engaging and transformational world of search. 

Outside of iCrossing, Tom relaxes by playing the guitar, rock climbing and snowboarding although notes that his physical activities are limited by a degree of injury proneness bettered only by Johnny Wilkinson!
