4th May 2022: Headquartered in the lanes in Brighton, digital agency iCrossing has sponsored the Brighton Seagals FC LGBTQ+ Social Football team. The mission of the Club for LGBTQ+ Social Football Team is to provide an inclusive and safe recreational football opportunity for lesbian, bisexual and transgender women and non-binary people. The sponsorship agreement will see the iCrossing logo feature on the home shirt, matchday artwork and training kit for the season 21/22 & 22/23, starting 1st March 2022 and ending 30th June 2023.
The opportunity to show our support as a business to a local team was raised by iCrossing’s Senior SEO Manager, Laura Davies. Not only is she an avid football fan, but she is also an active member of the Club since she moved to Brighton in 2017. Laura had this to say: “When you move to a new city it can be challenging to meet new people and build friendships. Since I joined Brighton Seagals LGBTQ+ FC I have met so many amazing open-minded people and gained great friendships, all whilst kicking a ball around and having a cheeky post-match pint.”
As part of the sponsorship the iCrossing logo will be prominently displayed on the Brighton Seagals FC LGBTQ+ team match shirts, training tops, matchday marketing materials and associated player of the match awards. And where permitted will be named in tournament publications, including matchday publicity, and iCrossing reserve the right to attend the Club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Of the sponsorship, Martina Lacey, Head of New Business and Marketing said, “We are delighted to sponsor Brighton Seagals FC LGBTQ+ Social Football Team and look forward to supporting Laura and the wider team at some matches over the coming season. Who knows, we may even have some more iCrossers join the team. We wish them every success over the coming year.”
