Campaign Best Places to Work Award Winners

Sorrel Shalet

Head of People

We are delighted that iCrossing has been named one of the most desirable workplaces in adland!

Being included in Campaign Magazine's list of the top 100 workplaces within marketing, advertising, digital and PR, is fantastic recognition for our talented iCrossers, who each play a part in creating a healthy and enjoyable workplace.

To be eligible for Campaign’s Best Places to Work, every company must complete a two-part assessment conducted by independent research company Best Companies Group (BCG) with employers providing information about benefits, policies and practices and employees completing a confidential questionnaire on workplace culture.

At iCrossing we are ambitious for our people and we want iCrossing to be the step change in their career. We ensure our people have the highest quality learning and development opportunities possible and foster a culture of belonging and growth. We're passionate about sharing our knowledge and expertise with each other and the industry to inspire change. Our agency is our people and we put their wellbeing first, nurturing a supportive community where it’s safe to bring you whole self to work.

Our comprehensive benefits package ensures our team is supported in their physical/mental health and financial wellbeing. Flexibility is our most popular benefit. Everyone is able to take advantage of our Flex10 benefit. Our working hours are 9am – 5.30pm with an hour for lunch. Within this we operate core hours of 9.30am – 4pm which gives everyone 10 hours (hence Flex10) in their working week which they can flex to suit their working style and lifestyle. In addition to this we offer Together Time which is 2 hours up to 3 times a year when team members can take time (without taking holiday) to spend with friends or family that are important to them. We also have 5 paid volunteering days per year.

We ensure every employee has their own tailored development plan which focuses not just on performance in their current role but includes a long-term career objective and a wellbeing objective. To support their development, everyone has up to five paid study days per year.

Most importantly we are always striving to improve and we do this by listening, understanding and then devising an action plan on how we can make things even better for our people year after year.

We appreciate the importance of our people feeling seen and feeling valued for the incredible work they do, so we ensure they are celebrated, rewarded thanked and recognised regularly. Winning a Campaign Best Place to Work Award is an important part of that recognition.
